Lisbellaw Presbyterian Church

Lisbellaw Presbyterian Church, situated at the bottom of the village’s Main Street, is one of a group of small churches that is sometimes known as the ‘Fermanagh Four’;

Fermanagh being the county that we are located in.  We have shared a minister with our friends in Lisnaskea, Maguiresbridge and Newtownbutler Presbyterian Churches since the 1960s, although at present we are without a teaching elder.

Our Sunday service is usually attended by anything between 30 and 50 people and our Sunday School, which brings God’s Word to the children of the congregation, meets after the service.  The monthly Bible study and fortnightly prayer meeting provide Christians with the opportunity to feed on the Scriptures and seek God’s face in prayer.

If you are visiting the Lakeland scenery of Fermanagh, we would love you to join with us in worship.

At present we do not run a crèche during the services but the service can be relayed to the church hall.  If you will not be in Fermanagh, you could pray for us, as we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world that increasingly has little time for God.

Prayer points

 Please pray:

• That wisdom and guidance would be given to Rev. Cupples, the Kirk Session and those in the wider Presbyterian Church, who are involved in seeking a way forward for ministry in the ‘Fermanagh four’ congregations;
• That our time of vacancy would be relatively short and a man of God’s choosing would be called to the congregations;
• That unsaved people, associated with the congregation would be converted to Jesus Christ;
• That Christians in the congregation would be faithful to the place of public prayer and Bible study;
• That there would be commitment from those connected to the congregation; for example, in regular attendance at services and in sending children to Sunday School
