Liz Warnock: Abbey Monkstown
It is amazing how quickly time flies, especially when you are busy meeting new people within the church and the community in which the church sits. It is now 5 months since I joined the congregation at Abbey, Monkstown as their Deaconess.
In this short time I have meet a variety of people who live in, or are working within the community of Monkstown. Everyone is eager and striving to support the practical needs of all those who live in this growing diverse community. It is exciting to be involved in joining with other organizations/groups, as we work in partnership offering practical support on projects that promote love, care and understanding to others whatever their need.
